Anybody experience effects of missing a dose of Effexor?

Anyway he was complaining about feeling like he had a stuffy head and was sort of out of it. So I was wondering if any of you have taken it, I mean I effexor imagine that any side effects would take effect that fast. However, he did seem a little distant at the table when we all went out to eat tonight. Though, then again, maybe he was just having a tough day. This would be one of the main reasons I was given it in the first place. It also seriously effexor xr not working 24 hours weight loss, but thats another story.
