Monitor weight, growth, fluid and electrolyte balance. Use lowest effective dose. Potentiated by CYP3A4 inhibitors eg, ketoconazole, macrolidescyclosporine, estrogens. Antagonized by CYP3A4 inducers eg, barbiturates, phenytoin, carbamazepine, rifampincholestyramine.
